Work with Ellah

I am a lover of words, worlds, wonders, and wanders. A poet, reader, writer, and social impact strategist, I work at the intersection of communications, partnerships, and project management. I enjoy bringing order to ideas, connecting people, and helping good stories find their way into the world.

As a personal assistant to authors and creatives, I work behind the scenes to keep things moving. From communications and digital projects to partnership coordination and the little details that are easy to lose in a busy day, I help turn ideas into action so you can focus on the work only you can do.

Away from work, I am usually reading, occasionally writing, or getting lost in a dystopian world. I am a die-hard Marvel fan, a Twilight Zone enthusiast, a mum to a little boy who loves anything with wheels, and a former taekwondo practitioner with a red belt I fully intend to put to use again. Good coffee and the occasional whiskey are always welcome.

I have a soft spot for stories that stay with you, poems that beg to be finished, people who dare to imagine something different, fictional worlds I can get lost in, plot twists I never see coming, conversations that send me down a rabbit hole, and ideas that refuse to leave me alone until I do something with them.

I love a good story, but I am just as interested in everything it takes to bring one to a fruitful life.

Client Testimonials

  • Remy Fisher, Contemporary Romance

A thoughtful creative partner who brings stories to life.

Stellah has been a valuable partner to my creative voice. During the launch of my book Highland Cactus and throughout my literary career, she has helped me connect with my readers and potential readers. She has a strong ability to understand the subject of a work and articulate it clearly, both in writing and in speech.

While working on our shared short story anthology, Seeing Our Sisters, Stellah provided timely and valuable feedback to each contributor, helping bring the project to life without delay.

I highly recommend Stellah. Beyond her dedication to her work, she brings creative experience that enhances an artist’s work in a unique way.

    - Munira Hussein, author of Unfit for Society, A Curve of Darkness, Highland Cactus, and Naisula Tours Marsabit County. She has also contributed to When a Stranger Called, Seeing Our Sisters, Through the Journey of Hope, and Pace in Poetry, alongside educational publications including English Literacy (Grades 1–3), English Literacy Revision Encyclopedia (Grade 3), and Secondary English (Books 1 and 3 for South Sudan).

  • A blonde woman on a blue background, wearing a black shirt. Joanna Cockerline, the author of Still

A thoughtful, visionary creative partner who turns ideas into meaningful work.

Ellah brings insight, passion, and vision to every initiative. Whether collaborating on the international short story collection Seeing Our Sisters (2024) or serving as a guest author, speaker, and mentor at an international arts festival, Ellah brings exceptional insight, energy, and commitment to her work.

While working on our shared short story anthology, Seeing Our Sisters, Stellah provided timely and valuable feedback to each contributor, helping bring the project to life without delay.

She combines meticulous attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture, alongside the drive, work ethic, and interpersonal skills needed to turn ideas into reality. During our collaboration on Seeing Our Sisters, she was a trusted teammate, editor, and source of inspiration. When I invited her to participate in the international Abaantu Festival in British Columbia, Canada, as a guest author, speaker, and mentor, the insight, wisdom, and dedication she brought to the experience were remarkable.

As a lecturer at the University of British Columbia Okanagan and the Giller Prize longlisted author of Still, which was also shortlisted for the Rakuten Kobo Prize for Best First Book, I have had the pleasure of working with many talented creatives. Ellah stands out as a star among them. It is my utmost pleasure to recommend her wholeheartedly.

I highly recommend Stellah. Beyond her dedication to her work, she brings creative experience that enhances an artist’s work in a unique way.
