Work with Molly
(She/Her)
Molly is a California-based illustrator, avid reader, and lover of fantasy. She studied animation and visual development in college so she has a soft spot for bright colors and bold expressions. Her goal is for clients to be just as excited as she is about the artistic process. When she’s not working on art commissions, she’s busy reading a good book or petting someone’s dog at the park.
After Molly obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2015, her first foray into the professional art world included setting up an Etsy Shop. She loves designing merchandise that fits perfectly in someone’s home, whether that be stickers, art prints, or pins.
Molly is excited for new opportunities and the chance to bring an author’s story to life with her artistic skills.

“Art that pops!”
Satmolls style leaps out from the page with bright colors and bold lines that don’t diminish the subtle expression of her subjects. After months of admiring her work for other authors, I hired her to make an author portrait of myself! I adore the piece and don’t think I’ll tire of it soon.

My Portfolio
Let’s work together
-
I’m open to working on a variety of projects but drawing humans will always be my preference. I do include humanoid characters in this category (monster or shifter romance stories.) I primarily focus on romantasy, contemporary romance, or sci-fi. I tend to avoid any projects that have extreme gore, violence, or complicated mecha-mech suits.
-
First, I start out with a rough draft. During this stage, I focus on the poses, layout, sometimes a bit of color to help me plan. After the rough draft is approved, I move on to flat colors. After that, I will send periodic updates and allow the client to request revisions. It’s up to the client if they want consistent updates or just a few.
-
After giving a quote for the project, I ask for upfront payment. Invoices and contracts are handled by Hawthorn & Aster.
I prefer sending updates to clients so they are involved with the creative process– this helps me make adjustments on the artwork along the way. I don’t generally charge for revisions because of this: it’s kind of built into my process. However, if something needs to be remade from scratch (which is very rare) I might ask to be compensated for the work.
I will do NSFW artwork depending on the content. My brand is very kink friendly. Check in with me first so I know it’s a subject I’m comfortable drawing. It can take me 4-6 weeks to finish an illustration. For a larger scale project like a book cover jacket, I might ask for an additional week or a few days.
All artwork is human-made, not generated with AI.
