I am excited to help keep authors motivated and inspired so they can focus more on bringing their books to life!

  • I am mother to three goblins in feline form (though I have a sneaking suspicion that at least one is a trash panda in disguise), and live in British Columbia, Canada, where I work full-time in an administrative support role for the BC Public Service. Reading has always been the greatest love affair of my life. There is nothing I enjoy more than curling up with a good book and a snuggly cat for a few hours and escaping into another world and another life.

    As a PA, I am excited to assist indie authors in the back-end admin work and helping to keep them motivated and inspired so they can focus more on bringing their books to life for their readers!

  • Hello Lovely People! I’m Jasmine Thorne, I am the Social Media Manager as well as the Canva Creature at Hawthorn & Aster! I am a full-time massage therapist and part-time hype woman! I focus on the creative aspect of promoting your books. Whether you need some custom or pre-made Canva templates to post on Instagram, or bookmarks and stickers made - I’m your gal!

    I also work as a Personal Assistant, taking care of your administrative needs! My main focus as your PA is to help you manage your schedule, take care of the pre-publication correspondence with your service providers, helping you get your book published so that you can focus on what you do best: writing!

    I will do my best to ensure your stories get the attention they deserve. And I’m not afraid to kick a few shins, figuratively, if the need arises!

My goal is to help authors succeed.

  • I’m married to my own personal book boyfriend and we have 2 awesome kids. I've always loved reading, but started seriously reading romance books at the end of 2020. I quickly became addicted and signed up for many as many ARCs as I could find. In 2021 I started my bookstagram to share my addiction with others, but wanted to be more hands on in helping indie authors. My goal now is to help authors succeed in their business by providing necessary back-end support and making their books as polished as possible.
